RTS Symphony orchestra and Apocalyptica at the Night of the music

This year, the fourth annual Night of the music will be held on August 30th at Ušće, where it will provide all Belgraders and visitors of the Serbian capital with unforgettable evening with music of the RTS Symphony Orchestra and Choir, and global music phenomenon – Apocalyptica. This time the Night of the music will be the part of the Cloud festivals platform. Within this platform Belgrade Beer Fest and Belgrade Music Week festivals will also be held at Ušće.

Led by the conductor Bojan Sudjić, RTS Symphony Orchestra and Choir will open the Night of the music with “Top classical” program, that is popular fragments of the most famous work of Stevan Hristić, Giuseppe Verdi, Georges Bizet, Aleksandr Borodin, as well as musical pieces of Franz Suppé, Arturo Márquez, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Carl Orff.

Special surprise of this year’s Night of the music is the performance of the Finnish band Apocalyptica, that formed an unique connection of heavy metal and classical music and thus established new musical genre and took undisputed place at the world stage. Their current tour is dedicated to the interpretations of the legendary American band Metallica – the program named “Plays Metallica by Four Cellos” will offer powerful and original interpretations of the biggest modern metal hits, depict live by four virtuoso cellists with their bows in the performance that brings starry sky over the Ušće to the boil.

With a twenty-year career, millions of records sold all over the world and concerts performed in over 40 countries, Apocalyptica entered the hearts of the fans of quality sound, and Belgrade audience will be able to enjoy their music for free and under the open sky.

Night of the music, the summer event under the open sky, that in the past years gathered over 45.000 visitors of all generations, this year will include non-less than seven hours of superb musical program.

The entrance at Night of the music is free with download of free mobile application KeepApp, that will be available from August on Google Play and App Store, and VIP places will be available with “All you can drink VIP PASS”.
